Sudima is actually very close to the airport. It is about 8-10 minutes' walk during the day, and it is very easy to walk there during the day. If you arrive at night, it may not be easy to walk. There should be free parking at the entrance of Sudima, and the room rate is slightly lower than Novotel. Novotel is right at the entrance of the airport, about 200m away. Go left from the Info counter (the restaurant is on your right, and there are many phone card sales on the left), and you can see it when you go out of the door. The staff said: you can't miss it The hotel room only provides one bottle of free water, and the second bottle costs NZD5. If you have a cup, you can also fill it with water at the airport. It is a perfect room for resting. The room I stayed in was very clean. When I opened the curtain that night, two large planes were right in front of the window. The luggage trolley can be pushed directly to the room and placed in the corridor. The hotel breakfast is worth it, the staff is very enthusiastic, and you can see the whole airport. Have a good breakfast here and start your journey to the South Island.
